Convert Your Facebook Profile to a Page

Did you know that if you've been using a Facebook profile (timeline) for your organization, Facebook could shut down your profile and revoke access to your content? It's true.
In fact, it's a direct violation of their rules. According to Facebook, "profiles (timelines) must represent an individual. Users aren't permitted to maintain an account under the name of their organization, or use personal accounts to advertise or promote themselves professionally."
The good news is that Pages have better features for your organization, such as insights, the ability to add mutiple administrators, and there are no limits to the number of people who can "Like" your Page.
So if you need to convert your Facebook profile to a Page here’s how you do it.

Step 1: Download your important data

When you convert your Timeline to a Facebook Page, Facebook transfers your profile pictures and adds all of your friends and subscribers as people who "like" your page. No other content gets carried over to your new Page.

NOTE: You should download the file that contains all of your sent and received messages and all of the photos and vides you've uploaded to Facebook before you migrate.

Step 2: Appoint new admins

Be sure to appoint a new Group admin or a new Facebook Page admin to any Groups or Pages that you manage. You will lose these admin rights during the conversion process.

Step 3: Convert your Timeline to a Page

To begin the migration make sure you’re logged into your Facebook account then go here.
